Come sing, play, laugh and learn with Our Family Coalition and Recess Collective at this fun, interactive monthly group for LGBTQ+ parents with kids 1-4 years. Explore the amazing indoor playspace, express yourself with hands on creative activities, and make new friends at Circle Time. Activities at Toddle With Me support your child's overall development: gross and fine motor skills, coordination and balance, early literacy, pre-math, and social-emotional skills. This month, special guest Emily Butterfly and her amazing puppets will provide an enchanting storytime! First-time participants will need to complete a brief intake upon arrival. About the Facilitator: Maggie is a San Francisco native who taught 1st grade in San Francisco Unified School District for 15 years before having her own child, Ori. Now Maggie is a full time parent and focuses on combining what she's learned about child development with an emphasis on sensory motor development, RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) techniques as well as simply trusting herself, to create a parenting style that shows respect for their child's needs as an individual.
*IMPORTANT* All families must complete Recess Collective's online liability waiver in order to participate in this program. This event is for children 1-4 years; older and younger siblings are welcome to attend, and we ask that parents supervise their children at all times and ensure they play gently. Please note that Recess is a nut-free facility, and no food, drinks or shoes are allowed in the playspace. Socks are required for adults, and optional for children.
