July Events with Ms. Butterfly

Welcoming July with a series of events for children and families.

On the 3rd, 7th,10th,24th&31st I’ll be sharing my magic of storytelling and crafting at the Stern Grove Kids Zone, which also features games, face painting and music making.

Details: sterngrove.org

On July 17th, I am super grateful to be working with Faviana Rodriguez &

Keena Romano

providing a hands-on art workshop for children ages 5-12 at Presidio of San Francisco!

A public art project through the Parks Conservancy and Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy for the launch of the Presidio Tunnel Tops, a spectacular “must see” San Francisco attraction that features scenic overlooks, trails, picnic areas, and gathering spaces with stunning bridge and city views.

Join us for MIGRATION IS BEAUTIFUL, a free hands-on art making workshop for children and their parents on Sunday, July 17th to celebrate the opening day of the Presidio Tunnel Tops.

RSVP here bit.ly/faviworkshop

Young participants will be able to create their own set of butterfly wings to celebrate the monarch butterfly and the importance of migration. The monarch butterfly is not only an amazing pollinator, it also has a beautiful story of movement that is relevant today. We belong to nature, and nature has no borders.

There are two sessions on July 17th, one at 10 am and the other at 12 pm. We have space for 50 kids per session. Each reservation has a maximum capacity of one adult and one child.

Come take the workshop and then explore the amazing children's adventure area - The Outpost - a two-acre nature play area where kids can have unforgettable adventures by swinging, crawling, and climbing on play structures built from fallen tree trunks and boulders. I've played on these structures and they are magnificent!

This is gonna be a special day for kids and families. Come through!

Limited Space - RSVP here: bit.ly/faviworkshop

I hope to see you all at some or all of these fabulous opportunities for children and families to gather, create and enjoy!

love,

Ms. Butterfly
